Strict Requirements

Toyota Certified Used candidates go through a lengthy process in order to receive their certification. Each vehicle must meet the following requirements:

• Current model year vehicle, up to and including models six years old
• 85,000 miles or less on the odometer
• Satisfactory CARFAX® vehicle history report
• Pass the rigorous 160-point Toyota Quality Assurance inspection, including mechanical, detailing and appearance standards

7-Year/100,000-Mile Limited Powertrain Warranty²

• Coverage begins from the original date of first use when sold as a new Toyota
• Covers major engine and transmission components, along with all internally lubricated parts
• Offers Travel Protection, including lodging reimbursement when more than 150 miles from home
• Provides Substitute Transportation reimbursement while your Toyota Certified Used Vehicle is being repaired
• Transferable at no additional cost, for added resale value

1-Year of Roadside Assistance³

• Coverage begins from the date you purchase your Toyota Certified Used Vehicle
• Change your flat tire(s)
• Give your vehicle a jump start if you experience a dead battery
• Come open your vehicle should you get locked out
• Bring you gas if you run out
• Tow your vehicle should you experience mechanical breakdown or require collision recovery

8-Year/100,000-Mile Factory Hybrid Vehicle Battery Warranty⁶

• Hybrid-related components are covered for 8-years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, from original date of first use when sold as new
• The HV battery may have longer coverage under emissions warranty

8-Year/100,000-Mile Fuel Cell Vehicle Warranty⁷

• 8-year or 100,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first) on key fuel cell components including the FC stack and power control unit; FC hydrogen tanks; hybrid battery pack and ECU; FC air compressor, boost converter and ECU; hybrid control module (power management control module); and hydrogen fueling ECU
